If you really want to get fancy with it, and spend
some money for the best results, get an air dryer. There is a few of them in the Northern Tool catalog.
An air dryer refridgerates the air so the moisture
will condense out of the air and can be drained off.
Add a drain on a timer and you get no more water in the system.

We had this setup in a place I used to work.
Some of the machines were really intolerant of
having moisture in the air they used.

I've had the sme problem. Sandblasting really works a compressor and the result is that after a few minutes the hose is full of hot air. I have a large water filter on the compressor and ended up putting another small filter on the air intake of the blasting container and that helped a lot. Someone suggested coiling part of the extra hose and laying it in a cooler with ice and water to fight the condensation. I haven't tried that yet. If you find the answer let us know.

Um.. how about a dryer/water seperator.. or simple inline filter or filter with a dessicant.

Many places sell combination oiler/water seperator/regulators prett cheap. I use one that I have simply never put oil in.

TSC sells disposable inline air filters for painting or plasma cutter use.. they are good for xx hours or xx air flow.. some have dessicants.. etc.

I've painted a few tractors with cheap-o chinese tool store paint gun, air compressor and regulator/dryer/oiler(no oil ).. and had superior results 2x to 3x better looking than rattle can and brush/roller paint jobs.

Here's the rear pic of my allis G I painted earlier this year... 2 coats.. with hardener.. had a primer base coat and lots of metal prep. TSC paint, hardner, primer.

This is while it is curing.. before application of decals.

See that shine... you can see yourself inthe finish.. it's like a car paint job. that tractor is waxed and parked in the garage right now..
