I have a tisco conversion kit and i dont know which wires to disconnect from ammeter and which side to hook the new one from my altenator to ammeter.pretty much all of it is confusing !i made a website w/pics but i dont think it is available yet. www.geocities.com/rons9n i can also email pics now if someone can help me ,please ! the diagram is hard to figure out

thanx very much rob,i did the wires like you said saturday and it started right up and runs great!!! i didn't check to see if it was charging yet,the meter doesn't seem to work.its great to have it running.thanx again!!!!

There"s a wire off the ignition switch going to the old resister. Take it off the resister and connect it to the new resister. Go from the other side of the new resister to the old resister.
There"s a wire off the ammeter that goes to the resister block, leave that alone. Take the other wire off the ammeter and move it there to the ammeter with the resister block wire. Then connect the alternator, alone, to the other side of the ammeter. That looks like the changes your diagram wants.

Your pictures take me 9-minutes each to download. When you upload those pictures off your computer drive, let the upload manager "resize them for the web or email." It won"t hurt anything and it will help us guys with phone modems.

as you see there are 2 wires connecting to the resistor block from the starter switch.whic 1 do you want me to put the new resistor on,

No, no. There"s only one wire from the ignition switch to the old resister. Don"t do anything with the wire from the switch to the block.

These diagrams usually gets a guy out of the woods. Check it out and see if you can get it.
