Bought an engine rebuild video from YT ebay sales devision June 15th. Payed for it that day with Pay Pal. Still dont have it. Emailed them 06/24 and heard nothing untill 7/1 when she said there had been a mistake and was sending me the rebuild plus tune video and that I should have it. Still dont, emailed 3 more times and no response. Called YT 3 times last Friday and got bumped around as no one knows who does the ebay sales except one nice guy said he would get a message to her. Turned them into Pay Pal last Friday night and imediately got a response that my videos were 2nd day aired. As of today no videos.

UPDATE. Video arrived in Friday's mail. Postmarked 7/13. Shipped from JD promotions. Don't understand why they would tell paypal on Firday 07/08 that it had shipped.

Something not right there. I have ordered from YT in the past with good results. You also have to think that people who provide such a wonderful site for us have to have something on the ball. I would keep working with them and see if I could find a solution. YT helps us out, why not cut them a little slack. One poor employee could be the only issue here.

YT (yesterdays tractors)is selling video's on ebay. User name is yesterdays_tractors I believe with a feedback of 74 positive. When I called to find out where my stuff is the folks answering the phone were not aware that they are selling on ebay either.

sounds like entirely possible whoever it is selling them on ebay has nothing to do with the real YT.

I ordered some guages and got them within a few days, but they were not packed in the box so two of the guages were rattling in the box. I would say the Quality issue is a problem and i hessitate to order any other items from them? Den

I"ve noticed that ebay sellers are quickly sliding downhill. Used to be not a bad deal if you were careful....but lately...lot"s of scams and renegades. I"ve paid for several items, never got them, turned "em in to ebay fraud, then the seller says they"re "out of that item" and makes a delayed refund...minus the PayPal charges of course. This prevents any ebay feedback because the sale was never completed so no opportunity to give negative feedback. Beware ebay.

Sounds like you could cure that problem if you just didn"t use paypal.
I don"t use paypal and as soon as I mark "payment sent" ebay reminds me to give feedback. I wait til I get the item but it seems clear I could give feedback before then. Maybe that"s why I got great performance on every transaction.

You said you couldn"t leave feedback on a paypal transaction because it"s not completed. That"s the problem I was talking about. And then there"s the paypal charges you mentioned. You avoid that stuff and then you have the feedback handle on the seller.

It's not a PayPal problem. It's an Ebay problem. You can't leave feedback on items that the seller never completed. No feedback is allowed except when the seller completes the sale. The seller, "1968cessna172h" is also known as "Gabriele Art" and offered and STILL offers T-41 Cessna Air Force training videos. I won such an auction, at the minimum bid price of $9.95, but since no one else bid the seller sent me a sorry "out of stock" email. Seller STILL had other auctions of same video ongoing, and when they sold at higher prices the sales presumeable went thru. But since MY purchase did not go thru...NO OPPORTUNITY was offered at Ebay to leave feedback. Numerous emails to the sellers OTHER email address..."ka6cr@adelphia.net" (operated under by the name of "Scott"...just another fake alias so he can get by the Ebay banishment) simply got me a response: "Sorry about the auction. E-bay has removed me from E-Bay for no apparent
reason. I will not be selling anything on E-Bay unless I'm re-instated. Your
refund should have included your fees." Of course, it did not include refund of my fees. He/she/it changed their fake ID and are back in business at Ebay selling their stuff ONLY if they make more than their minimum bid. FAKERS, CHEATS, LIARS, .... that's what he/she/it is.

I don"t offer paypal and don"t deal with sellers that take only paypal. Like I said, I"ve always been able to leave feedback after I sent payment.
Paypal is in the loop for all that ebay ripoff crap. That"s what the ID thieves work and now you describe another way cheatss work paypal. I don"t need paypal.
I figure if they can"t give me an address and receive mail then I don"t need to do business with them.
