NAA Rebuild Update Questions

I am taking a vacation day Friday and going to pick up my heads and crank in the AM for my Jubilee engine I am in the process of overhauling. New sleeves, pistons 3 ring std size, crank turned .010", new(er) rebuilt head after mine and 2 others I found had cracks in multiple locations - all this done by a reputable shop. I have cleaned oil pump real good - looking for plate gasket now, wiped off rocker arms real good - not much wear observed - didn't want (or have the means to) tear into assy, cleaned and reinstalled cam and tappets using assy lube.
Scraped 50 years or so of gunk from timing cover - also looking for governor seal gasket. I am planning on using plenty of assy lube on bearings and light motor oil on sleeves/pistons and double check everything I can using all book spec torques - my question is:
are there any "special" things I need to consider before I head off and hopefully finish this project? My hope is that I can get him assembled, and have no serious issues.. I know to prime oil pump I guess using drill (slotted shaft drive shouldbe easy), righty tighty - lefty loosey, and I need a clutch alignment tool. Trying to figure out where all the gaskets go should go OK.
Being a engr I hope this should be no problem. Famous last words!! HA! - I'll let you know how it goes and how far I get tomorrow night. Any advice truly appreciated.

reid - just did this not too long ago on my NAA Project Rustbucket. I got a full rebuild gasket set that had all these gaskets you mentioned except the early version governor gasket (for the two piece gov./timing cover setup) which I got from my local New Holland dealer.I used Permatex black gasket sealer on my timing and gov. gaskets, as well as the oil pan. Did you put new gears in the oil pump? I would strongly recommend that while you are in there. I did not have much luck with the Tisco oil pump gears (they were too thick) but I lucked out with some original NOS gears that fit perfect. Fill the oil pump with assembly lube, this will prime it on startup so no drill priming would be needed. I used a clutch alignment tool, but many just use the main shaft to align.

Plenty of rebuild pics on my Project's webpage below.

Good luck,
Dan

Got the crank in as well as the pistons everything mic'd and plastigaged well. I am concerned a little about one of the wedge seals on the back main cap - feels like it didn't expand enough. Sould be easy fix if problem. No major problem until about 7 oclock tonight I got the urge to remove the yoke from the shaft on the gov assy and broke the darn head off the small screw that holds it to the shaft. It also had a special retainer. The rest of the screw is just above the yoke so that it could hold for a while. I did manage to get the seal in Novi style gov cover. I am going to mount block after install clutch and then put all of the stuff back on. Don't want to risk banging anything up trying to mount engine. I can just see a broken timing cover or bent distributor!!
