Excellent site if you live near a river and want to see what it is doing or you are planning a fishin' trip miles away. You don't even have to get up from your computer!

www.riverwatch.noaa.gov is another good one, and yes the ohio can really fluctuate drastically and quickly, always seems to jump or fall on weekends. kj

Down here on the banks of the beautiful Ohio, when the rain gets going we watch everything upstream for days -- old Ivan left us a 40 year flood last fall, and the river flow and gauges on the web are invaluable to help us know when to get out of the way.

Hey,

Living by the Arkansas river and as an avid cat-fisherman, these addresses of water flow are crucial. Even have a nice dialogue with the webmaster. But PLEASE, don't ask me to dive the river again. If you lose it in the river, it's gone (unless you want to go after it).

Safety & blue skies,

DJ

I've always liked Johnny Cash's songs.
