I'm right on the edge of jumping on the special they are running for this cabinet. It looks like a good system for my needs, has a vac/dust collector, and can be fitted with a foot control and external exhaust. I have a sandblaster for the big stuff, but this would handle 99% of the stuff I have encountered so far on the Old Warrior project.

Anybody care to talk me outta this?

Tip Tools are very good quality stuff. They are not too far from me and have been to their show room several times. Its like testosterone heaven in there ...Grin! Their stuff tends to be a bit pricey but the quality is there to back it up. Good luck. One of those blasters is on my wish list but the "big" air compressor is higher on the list Sooooo. have to wait. Tim

I would definately go for the foot pedal upgrade. Those hand squeeze units get VERY VERY uncomfortable(can you say cramp) super fast. Not a big deal for small stuff but a larger job will have you screaming

I bought their glass and glove kit and made an exact copy of this blaster. It works excellent and I use it more than I thought I ever would. I would get the foot pedal, as it makes life a lot easier. It's not the fastest machine but you are only doing small to medium parts anyway. They have a good parts inventory which is also important.

Nice cabinet. I was looking at one 2 weeks ago at the TP showroom. It is located in Canfield, OH. I was in the area and stopped to look at all the latest equipment they had and to buy a HVLP paintgun. (Ended up with two gravity fed HVLP"s, one for primer and one for finish paints)
Back to the cabinet, very nice and they work. I have a model 930 myself and use it a lot. Later

Sure would be nice to have but I would have to speed about that much to match the CFM requirements, I think. But as it sounds like you already have a compressor to drive it, you are good to go. Shame you are not close to Alpharetta, GA, I'd love to see it in action.
