Morning to All; I posted last Monday about buying an 8-n to mow with. Thanks again to all who replied.I've got my Dad watching the La. market bulletin for me.He got his new issue yesterday evening in the mail and called me this morning before 7 am. to say he had an ad for me to call about.Well I waited until 8 am. to call so as not to wake anybody up.The nice lady on the other end said they had sold their 8-n the day before. She went on to say that the ink was'nt yet dry on that market bulletin before they had callers. So, these little gems must be very highly sought after.Wow,thats a fast.May have to be off from work the day the paper gets to Dad's so I can jump in the truck and go at least see one before it gets snapped up.LOL! Ya'll have a great weekend! Kenny

When I was looking for another tractor, I too looked forward to receiving the Ga. market bulletin in the mail. And, as you stated, all the bargains/good deals were sold before I could make contact with the seller and schedule an appointment to look at it. And, as you say, the seller said it sold the first day the ad appeared.

I finally wised up and started viewing the market bulletin online the day it was printed on hard copy. That gives you a little advantage/head start on the best deals.

There are a lot of individuals (dealers) who advertise to buy and sell farm tractors in the market bulletin against the rules of bulletin. Only farm equipment used on an active/hobby farm operation is supposed to be advertised as it is a free service of the state department of agriculture and paid for by tax payers.
