What was that noise

I wanted some dirt today to build up a low spot.
So I put the dirt scoop on the 8N and went down to the lower part of the property near the river to get dirt. This is in amongst the trees so roots and rocks are common. Normally when I catch the scoop on something I just raise it up and keep going. I was scooping today and caught it on something. I tried to raise it but instead of raising I heard a high pitched squeeling sound. I mashed the clutch and the sound stopped. I backed up a little and raised the scoop no problem. Then I went back to scooping.
Worked just fine still. I worked for another hour or so.
But what was that squeeling sound.
Sounded like it was coming out of the rear end.
I am thinking hydro pump. But not sure.
What would make that sound.

As much dirt as I need I am thinking of just having a load of dirt delivered.
Sure do enjoy the seat time tho.

Thanks.

Pooh..... .that was yer hydraulic pump pressure valve popping (squeeling) off. Yer lucky you didn't raise yer tractor front end and roll yer tractor over on top of you. Actually, the 3-point hitch is really built to prevent backwards roll-over. But it is something you need to be aware of. And NO, you didn't hurt yer tractor hydraulics, safety valves are supposed to pop-off..... ..Dell, yer self-appointed safety preacher

Thanks Dell.
It didn't even try to raise up the front end.
But I hit the clutch fast when I heard that noise.
Glad to know it was nothing serious.

Raining today. Can't scoop any dirt. :o(
