Front Axle on 2N

I have a front end loader on my 2N and recently I noticed the front wheels bowed out at the ground. Further inspection revealed that the bottom of the steering arm bolts are striking the top of the radius rod bolts, which needless to say, has a detrimental effect on steering.

Question is - I must be missing something as I don't see how the axle could be bent as it seems quite sturdy. The only other thing is something in the front pivot support. It would seem if the front pivot was worn it would increase the clearance of the steering rather than decrease.

Would appreciate any advice or help as to what to do. (And I know the 2N was never built to handle a front loader).

Are both outter axle halves firmly bolted to the center section?

Got a pic to post?
