Were there ever 8Ns made with remote hydraulics?

Either factory or reasonably common aftermarket part.

Thanks

This was one way, using a Front Hydraulic Pump like on the Loaders. Here is a picture of the Vickers Vane Pump that hooked to the front Crank Shaft Pulley with a short splined shaft going to it. Mark H.

Oliver..... ...remote hydraulics for N-Tractors, kinda YES. After the success of the hydraulicly operated 3-point lift, innovative tractor owners figgered out ways to tap the weak-sister hydraulic system for remote hydraulic power.

By eather chaining down the hydraulic lift arms under yer buttbuckett ...or... by riggin' a hydraulic blocking ball-valve in the hydraulic "stand-pipe" between the pump output and the lift coverplate, you can force yer hydraulic pump flow OUT the corner pressure test port to power a remote cylinder of somesorts. They have even used it to power a light-weight front-end loader. It was originally thought up for hydraulic retractable roadwheels for HEAVY disc harrow transport.

Its NOT as good as a crankshaft pulley operated FEL pump scheme nor is it as "good" as ZANES "live-thang" fanbelt operated supplemental hydraulic pump scheme..... ....Dell

Zane makes an aftermarket kit for the 8N that I have heard good things about. Check it out on his web site:>Link
