Neighbor just called, wanted to rent, buy, borrow, or steal one or both of our N's. Seems he's got some late hay to bale, it's cut and he's ready to rake. Price of fuel, and the GPH consumption rate of his big shiny new ford 4WD units are scarin him. He's gotta bale small bales for horse customers, so I'm guessin he'll bale with it too. Yeah, he's the one person I'll loan them to, he always lets me have one of his for big jobs and helps me out alot. Guess it's payback time, 'sides mebbe he'll finish teaching me all he knows about my tractor. LOL
Looks like it's time for out little fords to shine, in the working world again. Ron

That may be so, but those little fords are gas guzzling little rascals too. I got a 32 HP three cylinder diesel that runs better than twice as cheap as my 9n or Jubilee.

Dont know about the 9,2 and 8N"s gas consumtion on a good pull. Like plowing. Our TE-20 used alot less fuel then the new 641 and would do about the same amount of work. WE niver ran them reak hard either. Just steady.
