Can anyone comment on the best service manual for the 8n, I have one now but there are only 20 or so pages and it does not go into too much detail about specifics. thanks for any help RB

I gather you live in Canada. Princess Auto currently has the I&T (FO 4) manual on sale. It is quite comprehensive. HTH.

The I & T manual you want is FO-4 for 9N, 2N, & 9N.

I just got some that I really like. One recommended several times on this forum, that turns out to be superb, is the I&T Shop Manual. You can buy it from YT in the books section. Also, I have found two books by Spencer Yost to be really helpful, though you have to bear in mind that I am just learning things. The Antique Tractor Bible and How to Rebuild and Restore Farm Tractor Engines are both full of excellent information and clear photos. Finally, I have found a lot of great information in How to Restore Your Farm Tractor by Robert Pripps. Some of these are probably way too simple for you, but they helped me understand the details in the I&T Manual so I can use it most effectively.
