I have put 16 inch passenger tires on the front of my 52 8n, but now the front of the tractor is about two inches lower than the back. Could this be a problem since i will be using this tractor to pull a three point five foot finish mower? The area I will be mowing is mostly level.

With the smaller tires on the front, you'll almost always be going downhill which will save on gas consumption. That's also why dragsters have little bitty tires on the front. They're going downhill all the time and the gravity helps em go faster. I learned all this in fissiks clas. 8-).

No way you are wrong. Those little front tires will have to spin faster, which means that the front of the tractor will go faster. This is going to stress out the frame something fierce and usually the first thing to go is the pin holding the front suspension to the injun.

Heh, I learned this while I was clearin' brush at my ranch. It's real hard work but I do it to be a man of the people.

What is the proper way to adjust the top link anyway; e.g., for a brush hog.

Doug..... ..since I use the round "turn-buckle" style top-link; I ALWAYS adjust my top-link so I don't haffta fight to put the top-link pins in their holes. Simple, eh?..... ....Dell
