Hello, I have a set of rear steel wheels for a 8N Ford and was just wondering if any one would know what they are worth? I have had so many people just come and look at them because they have never seen a set so I figure there must not be many of them. Any help would be greatly appricated. Thanks Paul

They sound like Ferguson wheels

Hey Paul-
Actually, no such thing as an 8N Steel Wheel. The steel wheels were produced for the 2N when the war broke out to conserve rubber for the military vehicles. After the war, they returned to rubber. The steel wheels would work on an 8N though but that's the story behind them.

The steel wheels that I have do not look like those, they look more like a sand lug. I could send you a picture if that would help. Paul

Ken-
Nice tractor! I forgot to mention that they also used a magneto and a hand crank on the tractors to further conserve resources for the war effort.
