I finally got to try out the Zane Thang this weekend on my 2N. I was waiting for a break in the weather to get up to my "farm". I was surprized how good it worked. I knew it would work but didn't realize how well. I'm getting a little hunting in certain positions. I think it's because the quadrant in operating in the lower 1/3. I tried pulling off the lift handle, thinking I could move it on the splines to a better position. But there are no splines. Can I adjust it by sliding the quadrant forward on the slots? The quadrant is all the way back towards the rear of the tractor.

Isn't that thang the greatest!

I think your quadrant control might be too stiff friction-wise. I recall from the directions that if the quad control is too stiff it causes problems. I am sure ZANE will check in.

I loosened up the quadrant control friction like the directions said. All the friction is from the Zane Thang now. The directions were a little unclear but talked about the best configuration is when the quadrant lever operates in the top 1/3 of travel. Mine is in the lower 1/3. I think this is why I'm getting a little hunting. It's really not a problem but I'd like to get it right.
