Ever hear of one? I stopped in to the Darlington, Wi Antique Days yesterday without a camera.

Engine and sheet metal from a 8N. Trans and rear end and wheels from a Ford truck. Drop front axle. Home made frame to connect the rear to the front. No hydraulics or pto. Power steering. About 8 inches of ground clearance.

Owner said he bought it from a golf course that used it to mow with a 8 gang reel mower.

My neighbor has a red and grey Worthington that is complete and mostly original.

Yes, it was designed to pull reel mowers.

John Smith has several of those. I believe they were for sale at one time. I think this link will take you to his site.

The Worthington Model 'G' is it. Except the one at Darlington is painted traditional red and grey.

Thanks for the link.

third party image

I have seen one at a tractor show my wife and I went to in Terrel, TX a few months ago. I thought it was pretty cool looking (and in great shape), so I snapped this pic of it. I did notice the flat head four it was sporting.
