facing the bush hog from the front of it, the Arm on the left side that is the part that the hydraulic lift arm attaches to and it also is attached to the bush hog and goes up to the spot where the upper arm attaches to is bent. Guess it could be called the left part of the A-frame thingy. it was bent when i got it and i"m thinking since it sits back a lil further then the right side my limiter chains won"t work. I reckon there is no way to bend it back to shape as that is some pretty thick steel. Do they sell new ones/replacements??

I straightened mine using a torch and a 4lb sledge.

Seems you could make up any difference with the limiter chains. My 3-pt rigging was bent forward so I come off the tail wheel rigging with a chain and boomer. I pulled it plumb and welded it firm.

if you don`t have a torch take it to your local blacksmith shop.[ welding shop for you young people ]..he will be able to straighten it....if you try to do it yourself don`t bend it cold... bending cold tends to bend back...mike

Its hard to tell how bad your bends are, but I have been able to straighten alot of things out with a large cresent wrench in conjunction with a pipe for an extention, maybe a vise and or a hammer. I have even straighted out my hog with a log chain and a tree and a good tug. Think leverage, think how it got that way, and so on. BUT first THINK SAFETY. If your not used to swinging a sledge or using pipe legnths for extensions or just plain using tools, get some help and good advise.

Good Luck.

Noel

If it is a true Bush Hog brand it will be no problem. Just get the model number and your Bush Hog dealer can get a new one cheaper than paying someone to straighten. If it is a no-name rotary cutter it might be another story.A machine shop should be able to straighten.
