I am building a boom pole for my ford tractor.
it would be of great help if I could get the total length of the pole from the base of the lower three point arms to the end. Also the length of where the top link connects to the end, where the lifting takes place. thanks.

There's a good article on building your own boom in the How To section at the N Tractor Clu b, and it has dimensions.

www n tractor club com

replace the spaces with periods - cannot get this site to accept the URL. Kind of strange???

Good luck..... ...Judd

The problem with the link is the stuff between "www" and ".com" is only one word. Don't put any "periods" in that word as Judd suggests.

That will get you to that site. But I'm not sure why anyone would want to leave YT. Everything you need is right here.

John

Can you build one cheaper than you can buy one? KK makes some 49$ ones.. or did a couple years ago anyway.

Mines picked up about 800# and never even groaned..
