Looking at the parts section on this site I see 2 grills listed and one is "restoration quality" What is the difference in that grill and the cheaper one. Is it of higher quality?

I recon call YT and have'em take a look if the 8N82040E izz a match the price izz rite. That izz a TISCO # for the grill in the PIX. They come unpainted and may have a little surface rust but EZ to clean up, It also fits. I wuz sell'in some frome Sparex that had the tear drop bars fer around $125.00 and see'em on ebay from time to time but fit wuz a issue so I went to this grill.

8N 8204 & 8N8204-R izz the cheap grill.
8N8204DC izz the Dennis Carpenter reproduction grill Its the real deal. If ya gotta have OEM this izz the way to go.
The 8n82040E izz a tisco grill (I think ask first) thats a real nice grill fer the money. It izz just like the DC grill but has round bars instead of tear drop bars. Thats the one I now run on my tractor fer the money ya can't beat it.
all the # i gave ya are fer a 8N grill.

Cheaper made, or at least a simpler design- find old pics of 8N grills, you'll see the one they want more money for looks different.

Heres the real grill-compare

I know that tractor well, thats a 2n grill on a 8n that I dug outta the junk pile. I had to rewerk the lower panel cuzz it wuz beat up and made it fit a 8N. after paint it came out nice, a man stoped by and offered me big bucks fer it so I let him have it.

Thanks for the info. I will look at mine closer and if it is in need of replacement I will get the high grade one. Too good of a tractor to not keep original. I am for sure going to need a new left hand panel.
