Well got her running but i still have carb probs. has a miss at idle but if i pull choke just a little it smooths out and runs very well, please help smells like it is running ver rich

Hang in there. Had my 52n for 2 months before firguring everything out. Ran great the day before and the day I sold it. Wish I had it back. But did get $3,900 for it. As many of these posts reveal, fuel related. Craig

If you need to choke it then its running lean not rich. When you choke it that makes it run even more rich. Sounds like you need to open up the main jet a little, or you have problems with a little bit of a clog in the carb

Could also be a gasket leak, in addition to what OLD said.

It could also be weak spark. Mine was like that and I thought it was the carb - it only ran well with a rich mixture, more easily ignited by a weak spark. Check out the color of your spark to be sure. Del had some posts on this.
