My 8n has oil showing up in the radiator but there is no antifreeze in the oil. So there must be a leak in the pressure side of the oil system. I don't think it's a quick fix kind of thing but has anyone seen this and tracked it down? Could use a few hints. This has been happening for a while now but I think that I should probably make an attempt to fix it this winter. Thanks

Might be an oily sheen on the antifreeze from combustion products from a headgasket leak -- check for gas bubbling in the radiator when running. Run a compression check to confirm. If it's really lots of oil, could be a cracked block -- hope not.

Could be several things but that is the cheapest place to start. You should check the head might not be true , might need to be planed . Start with the simply first

Please let me know if you find out something I"ve got the exact problem and wrote in and ask a couple weeks ago.I"m waiting until the seasons over to start looking.Mine has been doing it for a long time and like I said before no time to look into it so now I do.A couple years ago I had a leak on the outside, water, and took it to a pro haha and had him replace the head gasket he did and sometime after I noticed the oil in the water so thats a great place to start I am. don"t forget let me know and if I find out anything I"ll do the same.
