I was removing the instrument panel from my 8N the other day to get it ready for paint when I broke off the oil pressure line a few inches from the oil pressure gauge. I haven't been able to find where to purchase a new line. I was wondering if it would be just as well to buy some copper tubing and a flare tool and make new lines for that and the fuel system? Thanks for any help.

Alvin- I broke my oil line to gauge also. Bought a piece of 1/4 inch brake line from car parts store and used a compression fitting. Ended up making all new oil and fuel lines this way using brake line. Cheap easy and looks good.

I make all of my own lines, but I don't recomend copper. Go to an autoparts store and buy the proper diameter steel line and flair kit.
