rayjo..... ....You asked... SHOULD BE AN OBVIOUS PROBLEM/SOLUTION RIGHT? ...look for squirts. Simple, eh? Oh, you want more info? Remove yer 6" round dip-stick plate (it won't hurt you or 'nuttin') and look up inside with a flashlite while you try to lift yer "heavy" brushhog. Look for squirts. Two sources of squirts, the hydraulic piston/cylinder and the hydraulic pressure standpipe at the side of the tranny chamber where it goes thru the buttbuckett gasket. Simple, eh? FYI..... .a good 3-point hydraulics can lift over 750# before yer frontwheels start flappin' in the air. Good 3-point hydraulics will hold implement up overnite. Most owners consider holding brushhog up for 30-mins almost braggin' rights. They start thinkin'bout re-buildin' the pump when it won't hold-up for 5-mins. You do realize that yer hydraulic pump (and subsequent pressure) is controlled by yer PTO shifter by yer left heel, don't you? And you do realize everytime you clomp yer clodd-hoppers on the clutch pedal, the PTO stops pumpin' the hydraulic pump, don't you? And you do realize everytime yer hydraulic pump stops pumpin', yer leaky hydraulics won't continue to hold yer brushhogg up, don't you?..... ..respectfully, Dell
