I find myself feeding 5 1/2 horse this winter. Feeding round bales. I'm looking for a setup that will hook to a ball hitch that will allow me to move these bales around on wheels. It doesn't have to unroll them as the critters just eat off the bale. Any leads to pic's or info would be very app. thanks in advance. Rusty2N

We call those 'bale movers' or doodle bugs.. bale buggies.. etc.

Try searching for those terms on the internet.

Do you have the capability to build one? I have a plan for one on wheels. Another plan for one that could either roll a full bale or be used to unroll one. Can't remember just where I found them, I just downloaded them as pdf's. Try a google search for bale mover plan?

the urls i posted are kinda long, but those are the actual plans. They're detailed enough to build one from.

You might try what I do.

I hook up my 5 ft box blade and set it low to the ground, Then I just push the round bales wherever I want them to go. Works like a charm and I am set up for when the snow falls.
