Has anyone used "L4 Liquid Wrench" for removal of stubborn bolts and nuts? I'm just now reading in Popular Mechanics that it has made the Editor's Choice as a favorite gadget and am anxious to try it. According to the article, it contains ceramic beads which act as ball-bearings to help nuts and bolts move easily. Popular Mechanics (Dec. 05) says it's about as close to an all purpose lubricant and penetrant as you can find...And everyone knows PM. mag. doesn't lie....JMHO...Ron

I believe it. It is only logical that with todays technology and chemicals that something new that works better would arrive. I like Blaster but must agree with the article and will try it. Thanks.

Zane posted about using that years ago, it's great. I have used straight "Liquid Wrench" for over 50 years and feel that even it is superior to the products frequently touted here as being the best. I do a lot of rust busting and have tried most everything, I like the L4 but can only find it in spray cans in my area, even the "liquid Wrench" is becoming hard to find. I also posted a better home made rust buster a year or so ago but to avoid health and safety issues I don't like posting it.

I new that Liquid Wrench had been around for years, but I thought the L4 might be something entirely new...Thanks...Ron

If it actually works it will be the first one that does. I've tried them all, and been sadly disappointed evey time.

It'll have to go a long way to beat Kroil. The best I've ever seen. But I hope it works since you can't buy Kroil in stores around here.

It will beat both Kroil and Gibbs hands down. As Zane suggested warm the part and add the L4 as it cools so it is pulled into the threads.

That"s good to know. I certainly have not been impressed with Kroil or PB Blaster....

If it's better than Kroil I'm absolutely gonna buy it.
