I have an 8n with one original rear rim in very good condition. The other side has a replacement rim. The tires do not have fluid in them now but I don"t know about the last 47 years. I have heard the original rims are hard to get and worth more than the after market type. What are the old rims worth in good condition?

Seems like they usually end up around 100.00 each. I'd be leary to ship very far due to freight. Like everyone else I have 1, need 1 original. Wish I could find one within driving distance (Eastern Iowa/Western IL)

I don't have an answer to your question about value, but my 1953 Jubilee also has one new rear rim and one original.

I purchased it that way. Both the center wheels are original. The two rear tires are mis-matched as well but they are in great shape.

You get it figured out, let me know.

I have a couple great original rims. And disks and good rubber too.

I saw a pair of original 8n rims last month on ebay. They were in excellent shape. Sold for $175.00 for the pair! Cheap if you ask me. But the shipping cost would be at least half that if they were shipped any distance at all.
