OK, The recent thread on rebuild kit tells me there's a lot of garbage kits out there. I plan to rebuild my 8N next summer. Someone give me a name of a place that has quality rebuild kits!

Thanks

Randy

This site, value bilt, and even a local parts store if there any good at all. I buy a lot of parts from the local Oriellys part store, so far all of those parts have been good.

Right here at Yesterdays. I've been very pleased with the quality, price, and service. They also reply promptly to any questions you may have. Be very wary of the low-ball price kits - you're lucky if you even get what you pay for. The labor and time you'll be putting in means a quality kit is very important. When I had my machine shop/parts store it seems too many people didn't have the time or money to do the job right the first time, but always had both when it came time to do it over.

First name that comes to mind is the friendly NC parts house..maybe he will chime in here later and tell us what kind of parts are in his kits..

I may be biased but I've always been pleased with the NH kits. Price may be a bit higher but the quality of the parts seems good.
