I bought all of the manuals I could (3) for the Jubilee ....Read them all cover to cover ....I have one simple question that I did not find in all that reading....How do you know what the correct level is for the transmission fluid and the rear diff fluid....There is a dipstick for Hydraulic and Engine oil but I have found nothing about these other 2 items...Feel dumb asking but ....As always Thanks in advance..Alan

There is a check plug on the back side of the LH axle trumpet. Differential oil should flow from port when plug is removed.

Alan, I am certain that you will get other responses but here is my input. The hydraulics, transmission and differential all share the same oil. They have seperate drain plugs due to the baffling built into the castings but they are all filled from one filler on the trans cover and are all indicated on the one dipstick. I know this is right for the 8n's and I am quite sure it is the same on the Jubilee.

On the Jubliee and NAA the hydraulics, transmission, and differential are all separate. As mentioned above, there's a dipstick for the hydraulic, and a plug for the differential (messy but effective). As for the transmission, I put in the number of quarts the manual said (6 qt. I think - but check me). Looked in at the fluid level and called it done.

Martin is correct about the 8Ns though.

Thanks for the correction, I thought the Jubilee was built the same as the N series. There is always lots to learn with a resource such as this.
