yep, its a scam, I sold a horse trailer on line and bought my 8N off of ebay. In both cases I encountered similar scams running. Funny how many people wanted to ship my horse trailer overseas. 1st rule of the internet, if it sounds or feels fishy, it is.

Good luck

The thing to remember is you are always in the drivers seat when you are the seller. You should never get scammed. You've got the item and can hold out until you get your cash and notice I said CASH. Remember in this day and age: Caveat Venditor(Let the seller beware)

If they send you a check. Keep it
on the side (don't try to cashit).
Wait for them to call you again
and say that you did not recieve it
yet.
Play this game till they get the
message.

It is a scam! What they will do is send you a "cashiers check" for more than your amount. There will be a story with this about how someone owes them money, they got this check for that amount, blah blah blah. Then after you get the check a story will come about how they need you to refund the difference right away, somone died, you are killing someone that needs medical treatment by not sending them their money, you are a bad person, send the money right away!

It will take up to 2 weeks for your bank to discover that the "cashiers check" that you got is forged/no good/not worth a dime, sorry. They hope you will send them the "difference" before this.

They don't want your saw in Bermuda, they want your money. That is why they don't haggle over the price and are willing to pay thousands to ship that thing overseas, etc.

SCAM: slang (orig. and chiefly U.S.). [Origin obscure.] 1. a. A trick, a ruse; a swindle, a racket.

Yep, it sounds like a scam to me. (BTW: Did you know "scam" doesn't appear in the English language until 1963?)

What a joke! These scammers need to at least learn to speak and write in English!

Delete that email and forget about it.
