Really big snowfall here in Michigan tonight. We are really buried between Detroit and Lansing in the I-96 corridor. Heavy wet snow that sticks to everything....is very pretty to see at this time of year. It is SO quiet out but one thing I DO hear is the very distinctive noise of an N Ford's engine. Almost everytime you go out and coming from different directions. Must be a lot of them around here. What is it that makes the sound of these engines so distinctive? It is a very pleasant sound.

Bought me a very nice "47 2N last summer. Right after I brought it home everything I own seemed to break down, needless to say no more money to buy a blade and chains for it. We had 6" of snow here in upstate NY last night. I was really looking forward to pushing some snow with it. Maybe Santa will suprise me. Have a Merry Chritmas.

I came home from work about 1:00 and plowed about 4" of accumulation. We went out for a few hours at 4:00 and when we got back about 7:00, another 3" is on the ground. There were snowplow contractors working everywhere.
My neighbor bought a plow for his truck to plow out his business parking lot. He has agreed to plow out our street.
He came over just after I put the Jube away and said I could call him to plow out my drive, for my wife to get out. instead of coming home early from work. I asked him if he was trying to spoil my fun. grin

Hey Steve, maybe I already saw it but was thinking on a front blade for my tractor. If you have pics would you mind sending them over along with a general idea of where you are at?

Me too, Steve. But, my stable is overflowing and it is hard to convince my wife that another one "followed me home". I'm going to have to get by with what I have and hope that these will keep me busy.
More seat time this afternoon to clean up the remaining stuff and get it ready for the next one.
For blade work, I sure would like to have my 8N back home. The Jube reverse is too slow. I guess I'll have to put that Hupp over/under into it this year.
