Found this site with info about the Delco 10SI, etc. alternators. It"s geared towards the hotrod crowd and stresses getting the most juice to the coil. Our problem is usually getting too much. Some good info nonetheless.

Russ,

Where've ya been? I've posted this link 'bout a dozen times, have hesitated to post it more, thinking I was being redundant!

Bob,
A few folks must have skipped it. Sometimes it's good to do redundant things again again again.

Yeah, I really think that's a good site. It's sure hard to know sometimes, what people will notice in posts. I found out about that site a couple of years ago, from an article in Car Craft, and have posted links on several old tractor boards. I think sometimes people think it just applies to hot-rods and don't drill down into it, for all the good info there.
