Teach her to drive it, Ron. My wife has appropriated our '52. She now openly calls it her tractor...."Well, you've got the 3000, so the 8N is MINE!" I had contemplated selling it after I finished refurbishing, but that ain't in the cards no more..... LOL!

Good luck..... .Ed

Sometime back I posted what worked for me as a wifely tractor attitude adjustment

One of her girlfriends called and asked to have her pasture dragged on a day I had a trip to Boise. Told wife that I would put the drag on and take the tractor over there and all she had to do was start it and drive it in circles.

From the gas they used and the comments they must have run it around all afternoon. Soon that 8N was "my" tractor and now I need to keep the oil changed and even--perish the thought--wash it.

Your mileage may vary

Ignoring your 8N for a few days may create a whole new set of problems. Have you ever tried to start a jealous 8N?....DaBrow
