I have a 2n I'm working on! There is a box scraper attached to the three point hitch. The three point goes up and down at will! With control handle in up position. Any ideas, what causes this? Thanks!!!

Sounds like the big draft control spring on the back is way out of adjustment. Take the link loose and roll it out of the way then, with the draft control lever in the up position, screw the control spring outer bracket in or out until there is just enough tension on the draft control spring to hold it in place.

If that ain't it, you might have some linkage broken or falling apart under the top cover.

Wait'll Zane wades in on this one, before you do anything.

The 2N does not have position control on the hydraulic lift, only draft control.

You need a Zanethang!

Yea, but with the touch coutrol lever in the full up position wouldn't the implement stay up until you get where you are going????

I'm not sure about that. My father-in-law had a Ferguson TO-20 with only draft control and the implement would go all the way up and then back down, even with the qudrant touch lever all the way up. Of course, it could have needed adjusting also.
