Well here is a very familiar subject, but I wanted to bounce it off you folks again.
No water in oil, no oil in water, new head gasket, PSI in all cylinders 100, anti-freeze dripping around the exhaust manifofd and exhaust pipe connection, sweet smell of anti-freeze smoke upon startup, runs great after couple of minutes when liquid is cleared out, removed manifold and did see some wetness around #2 cylinder, had radiator repaired recently with new cap and thermostat, radiator boils over and releases about half gallon of anti-freeze, checked thermostat for correct install, removed a couple head studs and applied thread seal and replaced, new hoses, looked up subject in archives very times.....
P l e a s e provide any suggestions and thoughts that might releave the situation and my frustration. Thanks

Hmmnn, are you using a pressurized rad cap ? Is it required? You COULD have cracks in the water jacket and other places. Try loosening the cap and run for a bit.....maybee?? ALSO seal the manifold studs, like the head bolts they could / do ( hey guessing) run into the water jacket. Other gents will know. HPH

Remove all the spark plugs and take a look. if you do not see enny coolant let it set awhile and recheck. After a long set (overnite maybe spin the starter over with the plugs out if you do not see coolant put a finger over each plug hole one at a time and see if when it pops yer finger off the plug hole you git coolant. While you have the manifold off look in # 2 port real good for were the coolant izz coming from. A good tool to highlite the antifreeze izz a Ultraviolet light (black light will werk). Streamlight (called a Stylus) makes a pen (pocket) light that comes with different color blubs, the blue one will also highlight the florescent dye in antifreeze. www.streamlight.com I should have stock in the Co. I have 9 or 10 of’em and always carry 2 in my shirt pocket all the time at werk. I feel you gonna haveta remove the head so try and pinpoint the troubled cylinder first befor you remove the head. Clean the combustion chamber good a crack izz easy to miss. I missed this crack the first go round cuzz I thought the head gasket wuz the problem, Once I cleaned the head I saw it.

Are you sure that it is boiling over? Not just overfilled. If you put too much water/antifreeze in it it will overflow. The water should be just over the cooling fins -- the rest of the tank is for thermal expansion. Next time it "boils over" check the fluid level after it cools down. If it is just above the fins you are ok - do not add more.

Retorque the head bolts, sounds like exhaust gases are getting into cooling system.Look for cracks around valves.
