I have a ford 2n tractor..I am trying to find the lifting capablities for a 3point hay spear with adequate front end wieght...thanks for any info

Capacity is about 800 lbs at the eyes at the ends of the lower links.

Since the spear extends behind that, mechanical advantage is lost, so the capacity at the spear is considerably less.

Bob ??. Are you talking about how much it will lift or how much it will lift before the front tires loose tracktion?? I have a 8N that if you put enough up front will lift one of my big bales but I will not do it to it because its just plain to hard on the tractor.

More then 750lbs if working good. A real good working 3 point will lift over 1000lbs but the front end will not stay down.
