8N 540 link should it be straight

The link #8N-540A2 on my Hyd lift cover has a bend to it, I believe it is supposed to be straight and was bent at some point when the yoke #9n-546C was adjusted. Can someone confirm my uneducated guess. as always, THANKS for the help.

Its spose to be straight. if you install a washer on plunger # 8N541B and grind a slot in it to fit the pin on plate # 957E527 it will let you have sum adjustment on the lift linkage. after you install the cover. the washer will push the plunger back sum and take out the slop in the linkage.
