It was Ford paradise for us N lovers and the picture posts accurately depict the grounds and the tractors.
It should be mentioned too that the event was well organized and easy to negotiate around. The grounds were kept clean and the staff were helpful. Parking was more than ample and the parking was free. Entry fee was an entirely fair $4.00. Even the Men's Room was in good shape. Announcements over the PA were pretty clear and they attended to business with not a lot of yammering.
I kept wondering who-was-who and - - - as much as I hate that sort of thing - - - some name tags with our Ford Forum "handles" would have been helpful.
The crowd certainly was clean-cut as well. Lots of family groups most of the T-shirts said things that would not offend your grandma.
I traveled about 700 miles round-trip and don't regret a mile of it. (Besides, I got to hear Garrison Keillor 1 1/2 times on Sunday on the way home.) Weather couldn't have been better.

I too enjoyed the Gray showing. I was impressed by the open friendleness of everybody, the good food and reasonable prices.(Not rip-off city like some of the car shows I go to) AND I appreciate the fact the your organization contributes so much help to the Shriners Crippled Children Hospital. I'm one of the "Fez Heads" that will be out on the highway the next two week-ends. So if'n you are out and about and see a Shriner, give him a hand. Donate loose change, extra $ of any kind. The kids will appreciate it.AND If you know a crippled child or burned child that needs help lets a Shriner know. The help is free to the child & his/her family.
Can't wait for next tractor show.

Hello guys,
I just joined the Ford/Fordson club a couple months ago, and went to the show at Gray, TN. this past weekend. It really was a great show, and I met some of you guys there. Really enjoyed being with you. Was impressed with the depth of knowledge of Fords that I found, and the helpfulness of people I had never met before also. I have a 2000 Offset that I was looking for info on, and found plenty. Thanks. Stan Walls

I made a little 8N name tag and wore it. I didn't stay too long...about 5 hours on Friday and about 5 hours on Saturday. There were so many tractors and so many folks. Next show, we ought to network a little better and have a get-together.

I agree with the both of you. It was a great place to spend the weekend. Too bad we didn't meet up and at least say hi. Maybe next time.

Sam
