I had pretty much the same problem with my 3 wheel harley cart also,if the advice you got already doesn't fix the problem check that the points plate is making a good ground, that ended up being my problem.Sinple fix but I was pulling out my hair til I fount it.Just my $.02

Define 'spark to the points'.

Are you getting a voltage reading at the wire going to the points.. or do you see an excessive spark across the points when they open ( if you do.. your condensor is bad.. ).

If you have power to the points, ensure that they are closing.. check voltage reading... if they are closing and opening.. then check ignition coil. secondary.

Also, ensure that yuo are getting correct voltage at coil primary..

Here"s a new one for you guys. We work on lots of these tractors, have for over 40 years, just received a stock of new caps and rotors for the front distributors(same supplier for years), couldn"t make a customer tractor run worth a hoot. Started checking parts, 1 out of every 4 new caps were made right, rotors, 4 out of 10 rotors were right. Bottom line, check the new parts very closely, can cause real grief. Dale

I'd replace the condensor first.. then i'd repalce the spark plug wire.. see where that gets you..
