My brother-in-law wants to sell me what he thought was an 8N but the serial # shows it to be a 1946 or 47 9N(2N). It has been in the family since 1952, runs good and doesn't smoke. It is on propane and has been since 52. The gas tank and all are intact, the propane tank was mounted behind the seat and can be removed. The metal is good, just needs paint, and all the parts are there. Comes with a working planter, and cultivator. What's a fair price for this package? If I keep it long term, I will completely restore it.

I too have a brother in law.

If there is any chance this may become a family issue later get the local Ford or other dealer to bid on it. Check the ads on e bay. If you don't you will most likely hear about it down the road when some unrelated issue blows up.

Your mileage may vary

Here in Missouri it would bring anywhere from $1500 to $2000 in its current condition as you have described it for the tractor and an additional $400 for the implements.
