Does anyone have a tip on how to remove seized lugnuts?

Of course, once you get them off, put a little dab of anti-seize on each lug before you put the nut back on. A little tube of the stuff will last the average DIYer forever; good mechanics keep a tub of it in their tool cart. It's smelly and hard to get off your hands, but worth the trouble; next time the nuts will come off with no swearing required.

In a pinch, a little white lithium grease is a decent substitute for anti-seize. And contrary to popular belief, none of these make the nuts more likely to vibrate loose; their slickness allows you to torque the nuts down a bit farther, so the threads 'flex' more and actually help lock the nut in place.

BTW, I've seen silver-colored anti-seize and copper-colored; is one better than the other? Is it a temperature range thing?

Get some Kroil and let it work on the nuts. Best penetrating oil I've found. If they're really rusted it helps to wire wheel where the stud sticks out from the nut so the penetrating oil can get in there. As someone has said you'll likely need heat also.

To add to gahorN heat some times also helps. Heat them up let them cool a little then pour on the oil. Wax also helps, heat them up and then when still hot melt the wax on to the studs.
