Seems like the big thing is what kind of tires you have on there, and what you are going to cut. Regular Ag tires are going to do a number on your lawn but might be "OK" for other areas.

It will handle a 6 foot. I bought a 5 foot because anywhere the tractor fits, the mower fits. Partially idiot proof.

Didnt say what type of grass but I guess it really won't matter. Finish mowers are for lawn grass that is regularly maintained at 3-5" and cut on a regular basis, not pastures nor woodlots. The NAA should easily handle the 6' in any normal lawn cutting application. Here in E Central FL I use a 6' on either my 2N or 8N cutting Argentine Bahia and St Augustine. The 6' reaches outside the tire track for full cutting right to the edges. The Bahia is tough and wirey, grows fast and needs cutting every 5-6 days in season. If it is neglected for over 2 weeks it has thick growth of up to a foot but still can be cut with the 2N but with half a swath or more as required.

I second everything you said. But I've never figured out why it's a plus for a 3pt mower to cover the wheel track on the tractor. The tires lead the mower deck and mash the grass before its cut.

You cannot mow close to buildings, fences, etc. unless the mower is wider than the wheel tread.
