As I stated before I'm reading like 17 to 19 volts at the alternator and the positive side of the ampmeter where the alt red wire is connected and reading 12+ at the negative post on the ampmeter..... ..with no reading on the ampmeter itself..... ..... .

I have gone out yet its only 7.30 here in southern Cal . Get back to you later..... .

I'd pull the amp meter and check it for 'open'.

Did you check for continuity across the ammeter, like I desccribed in your last thread?
