Use on the front of a 2N/9N hybred. I have a set of fair 19 tires and rims and also a set of fair 16 tires and rims. Which one would you put on?? Also why?? Thanks
Also this has the sherman over drive tranny, if that makes a differance

19's unless you run a loader. Friend of mine has motorcycle tires on his 19's and they dont tear up his grass.

I was just thinking about this yesterday when I was mowing the yard. My 2N steers alot easier with the 19's than the 8N with 550x16's. I also had my choice when I got the tires and rims. I thought the 16's wouldn't cut up the yard like my 2N did I was right but my arms are sore this morning.

I don't know the difference in how the two look. (OK, OK, I know I missed the boat on this thread, but at least I'm catching up now. :-) It makes me curious about Arthur's rims. Do you measure straight across the metal, or from outside tire edge to outside tire edge to figure it out?

Dawn..... ...go look at yer tires, size is molded into the side when mfgr'd. But since Authur came with a FEL, good bet that yer frontires are 6.00-16 for the load carrying capacity. Simple, eh?..... ..Dell

Right on the money! I looked at them today (because of your post) and that's just what they say! :-)

Thanks!

Personally, I just like the looks of the 19's better. But, from a performance standpoint, it is a lot easier to steer w/ 19's, and plowing w/ them is like having power steering. The only downside I've seen is that they will cut soft/wet ground in a tight turn much quicker than 16's. Of course, if you have a loader, 16's are a must.

If you have no plans to use a loader, the 19s will do just fine.

I would go with the 19's,for some reason you rarely see those around here..I just like the way they look..

I am running on 16s now, but a previous 8N had 19s and it seemed a lot easier to steer. Could be I am just older too.
