Thanks for all the input and suggestions.
Here's some info for the archive banks.
If the lower part of a radius pin breaks, fix it now. Continued driving can bend the center axle and spring the end of the radius rod.
Removing rusted in pin. Soaked overnight with penetrant. Still wouldn't move. Carefully center punched top of pin, drilled thru length of remaining pin (1 3/4") with 3/8" drill bit then followed with 1/2". I was then able to drive what was left of the pin out.
I used my shop vise as a press to close the arm fork back closer together. Took several attempts but was able to do it without heating it. Attached fork and replaced pin, then I couldn't get the ball end of the rod back in it's sockect on tranny. So I carefully drove it to a telephone pole and wrapped chain around end of axle and pole then used the rear tire to pull the tractor back until I was able to push the ball back in the socket with my foot, then lowered my box blade to keep it from moving while I put the cap back on the sockect. Took the whole morning but I got it back together.
BTW I bought the tractor this way, so for those of you looking at a tractor, check an make sure you can see the bottom of the radius arm pin sticking below the arm fork and it should have a cotter pin in it.
