Well I now have smokey running but when I went to put on the tool box because of the sherman tranny it doesn't fit. Is that the norm or is it some other problem??
Thanks

Old - From looking at your website I take it you have a 51 8N?? If so the toolbox mounted originally behind the dash. You"ll see a hole and should have a nutplate behind it. A lot of people (including myself) mount the toolbox on the right fender. Either way I don"t see how a sherman tranny makes any difference.

Joe..... ..the 9N/2N tool box bolts to the side of the battery tray and INTERFERS with the Sherman aux tranny shifter lever. Yer right about the slanted back 8N toolbox mounting under the gastank door against the back of the dashpanel..... ..Dell

Sorry should have said what it is. Its a 2n/9N cross breed that I have just built. Takeing the 2 tractors and building one good one from them. It has the 9N rear end/tranny and the 2N engine/front end on it. My 51-8N has a back hoe on it.
