Really had hoped for more people giveing there opion oh well. Well I hooked it up pulled the lift lever up, had foot on clutch hand on key just to be safe. Well this little mutt tractor I just built lifted it up, wheels stayed on the gorund and then pulled it the 30 feet I need to pull it to get the MH-30 in the shop. Guess the hyds are very good and it has enough HP do do a little work. And thats with less the and hour on new rings. LOL

What year is your MH30? I have a 1944 model I'm getting ready to get running again (ran when parked..lol). Has a messy 12 V conversion I'd like to restore to 6 V. The hydraulics work very well and I've been thinking about how to modify it to a Class 1 hitch. Any ideas?

I just got my second 8N working and it's a real workhorse. After the MH30 is a Farmall H that I have dissasembled and hope I can get back together.

Too many projects, so little time.

I think the MH is a 1949, it has a blown engine in it right now and I hope to take tow engines and make one good one from them. You say you have to many projects and not enough time guess you wouldn't want to be me. I have around 30 tractors here and some where around 7-10 of them are ones I'm working on in some way or the other.

I didn't get a chance to read your earlier post but I would have predicted it would lift your Massey. My 8N picked up a volkswagen using a boom pole.

Old, Be very careful with names, you might hurt the little tractors feelings.(GRIN). For 50 years the relief valve goes off before the front end lifts. Is my relief valve weak, I have a new one but have never put it in. By the way , my test is with the tractor standing still in neutral. Should it lift the front wheels????

Well thats a yes no or maybe depending on what your lifting and how far out the weight is. I.E. I have a disc that when It had all the weight on it as it does when useing it on my bigger tractor it will lift the front on an N off the gorund.
