I am wondering the best(easiest) way to remove the upper hydro lift arm. The one I am interested in is the one on the left side if looking from the rear of the tractor. the right side looks easy, remove the two bolts that hold a plate on. The left side doesn't have any bolts. I am hoping I don't need to take the entire pump off. Thanks for your help!

Better to leave this alone. The arms are usually rusted tight.Pressing them off can break the top cover.

I had my entire top lift off awhile back working on my hydralics. I decide to change the lift arm bushings. I had to do alot of heating and beating to one of the sides. It sure was a pain to get off there. But the other side pulled right off. When I went to get the bushings the fellow there told me that they usally take theres off with the lift still on the tractor. But Im not sure what your plans are. The side you said dont have a cover and bolts should have it. When that shaft that they are on moves and is not all rusted and froze up that is what keeps the shaft from coming all the why out.
