There was a response to a previous post about changing o-rings in valves

“It would have been good to have replaced the unloading valve O ring if so equiped when the had the lift cover off”

I have the lift cover off, repaired what was ailing it, and I was planning on changing to an O-ring piston in the lift cylinder.

Is there anything else that would be reasonable, minor & prudent while I’ve got the lift cover off? I still have time to order parts….

Sory about the lack of info.

49 8N.

Original problem was position control not working, took cover off, unfroze rusted linkage, changed cam follower pin. All seems good there. Planned to change piston/ring in lift cylinder while I was there. Question is if there is anything else.

Just the gaskets under the lift cyl.. etc. The rest of the stuff attached tot he lift cover is just linkage. All the valvine is in the pump.. etc... unlike the NAA and + that have the unloading valve and safety valve up there under the cover..
