If i was to increase to a taller tire (currently using 15" rims on the front) to 19" and lower the rear diameter to a size that someone could reccomend would it make my 8n with loader steer easier? Thanks for the replies in advance, Paul

Paul..... ..more tire pressure in your front tires will make it eazier turning than changing to 19 in ribbed tire which is really designed to follow the plow furrow eazier. I've run as much as 50 psi in passenger tires.

I'd consider changing to a "wider" 15" tire like 9:00 X 15 instead of a 6.50 X 15, get used tires, you don't really need to worry about speed safety (grin).

But really, to make your FEL steer eazier, make up a 3-point hitch concrete block counter weight of about 250 lbs. Will really lighten your frontend and make steering eazier..... .Dell
