I saw in a local sales paper today that a local dealer has a 9N listed for sale, there price is $895. No I'm not selling it and no I don't know any thing about it just figured I would past it along and if some one want info as to, WHO, WHERE etc. just ask

If it runs, it probably sold before the paper hit your front porch.

It one of those local ad papers you pick up for free. As far as sold I don't know, so far in this area tractors have been hard to sell, I know because I have 5 or 6 for sale right now and have for the past year. No one seems to have any money around this area. Even a friend who owns a pawn shop says hes had a lot of $$ going out but very little comeing back in. He told me a lot of people are pawning things to buy gas just to be able to drive to work.

I'm in the financial business (I manage a small credit union) and what you say about your pawnbroker friend just confirms what I've been thinking for the last year. The Fed keeps raising interest rates because the economy is on the upswing and they want to head off inflation. But I say the cost of fuel affects EVERYTHING in the economy. Most everything we buy has to be transported using diesel fuel (truck, train or ship). The outrageous cost of that fuel will have to be reflected in the price of everything we buy. I wouldn't be surprised to see the economy start back down again soon if something doesn't happen to moderate fuel costs.

Ya and it really is hurting people that live on S.S. or S.S.D. the feds give an inflation increase each year but with gas prices like they are the the increase doesn't keep up with the true cost of liveing. I know a few yearsago I could sell a tractor but now it seems like you can't sell or even for that matter give something away. Also in my area the horse market is very bad, hoses that 3 or 4 years ago would sell for $1000 you can't get $200 for them. Well I guess it will either get better or it will get worse, only time will tell

Truer words were never spoken. Prepare for one and hope for the other.

Guess thats why I always make sure I have a few 100 rounds of ammo for almost all my guns. If it does get real bad I can always go out and kill something LOL
